Rob Valentine

Rob Valentine is a Principal and Vice President of Investments at Lingerfelt.  He focuses on sourcing, acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions for the company’s investment portfolio including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitality product types.  Rob leads the firm’s fund management platform, responsible for managing the firm’s closed-end private equity funds, and also supports the firm’s ground-up development initiatives. Rob began his career in 2012 in commercial real estate data research and analysis at CoStar Group.  Beginning in 2014, Rob transitioned into commercial real estate asset & investment management, acquisitions, dispositions, and private equity fund management for Lingerfelt CommonWealth.  He has been actively involved in the structuring of the firm’s operating platform responsible for the acquisition and management of over 15 million square-feet and 1,600 hotel rooms valued at over $1.5 billion. Rob was also actively involved in structuring and managing the firm’s fund management platform responsible for the procurement and management of over $200 million in private equity capital commitments alongside joint-venture/co-investment partnership capital commitments in excess of $600 million. Rob is a graduate of the University of Virginia and is a licensed real estate professional in Virginia.
