Rob Valentine serves as Managing Director, Investments at Lingerfelt. He is a Partner of the firm and a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In his role, Rob leads sourcing, acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions across the company’s investment portfolio including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitality product types.  He also heads the firm’s fund management platform, responsible for administering the firm’s closed-end private equity funds, and supports the firm’s ground-up development initiatives. He has been actively involved in the structuring of the firm’s operating platform responsible for the acquisition and management of over 15 million square-feet and 1,600 hotel rooms valued at over $2 billion. Rob was also actively involved in structuring and managing the firm’s fund management platform responsible for the procurement and management of over $200 million in private equity capital commitments alongside joint-venture/co-investment partnership capital commitments of approximately $1 billion. Prior to joining Lingerfelt in 2014, Rob worked in commercial real estate data research and analysis at CoStar Group in Washington, DC. Rob is a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he majored in Economics, and is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Virginia. Rob resides in Richmond, VA.
